Created by jena on 2/8/2013 9:24:28 AM

Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters has many talents. In fact, he is tracking drums for the new Queens of the Stone Age album AND set to do the entire tour. This just in...the new record will feature another well known guest...Elton John. Uh...wait, what? Yeah... Dave Grohl has been hosting the E! talk show "Chelsea Lately" this week, and had Elton on as his guest on Wednesday. He told the audience, "Recently, Elton and I recorded something together, something people wouldn’t imagine the two of us doing together.” Elton admitted that he was relieved he wasn’t asked to perform on a ballad. He added, "Nobody really asks me to do stuff -- they think I’ll say no."

Other Rockers on the new QOTSA Album include Nine Inch NailsTrent Reznor, ex-Queens bassist Nick Oliveri and occasional Queens vocalist Mark Lanegan. Release date is TBD.
